Located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, this family friendly barn offers lessons to all ages. The facility includes a round pen for younger riders to get started in, a bigger fenced jumping arena with sprinklers, as well as a path around the property with cross country jumps for the more advanced riders.
Instructor Carol Saulsberry has over 30 years experience as a rider and trainer. Carol worked as a Pony Club District Commissioner for 4 years in New Hampshire and 8 years as an event organizer and instructor for United States Pony Club while her three children were active members as well as showing. Carol also competed at 3-Day Events on the East Coast for 10 years. For fun and excitement she was a member and rode with the Wentworth Hunt Club, foxhunting for fun.
Carol continued teaching the values and instructional approach of Pony Club to her private students as a trainer in Orange County, CA for eight years prior to moving to Dreamcatcher Ranch. Dreamcatcher Ranch is a girls riding summer camp located in Somerset, Ca. She has been successfully running that program for 13 years and carries that knowledge to her instruction at Trinity Oaks Farm.
"Joey" has taught many, many kids how to ride, he is the easiest pony to learn on and very safe for all beginner riders. He is a 14.2 hand Quarter pony, who is as mellow as can be and always takes care of his riders.
"Shiloh" is a perfect next step for the intermediate and advanced riders. Very kind and smooth, this pony is really fun out on the cross country course. He is a 14.2 hand Quarter horse/Welsh cross
Jubilee is a 15.2 Hand Appendix Mare with a sweet and gentle disposition. She provides her riders with the opportunity to apply their skills at the advanced beginner level.
